Concert: Quadrivium Quartet The Quadrivium Quartet presents two masterpieces of the classical repertoire: “Death and the Maiden” by Schubert and the Divertimento in D Major by Mozart. The concert cycle begins in Angra do Heroísmo and continues in Horta on 4 October at 5:00 PM, at Casa Manuel de Arriaga. These concerts are part of the Classics at the Museum Season 2026, an initiative that brings the great repertoire of classical music into Azorean museums and heritage spaces. The journey concludes on Pico Island, with a concert integrated into the Cordas Festival, reinforcing the regional dimension of the project and building bridges between islands, cultural spaces, institutions, and audiences.

The Feast of St. Anthony in Cedros reaches its highlight with the Eucharistic celebration at 17:00 on Sunday, which will also commemorate the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi, liturgically celebrated on 4 October. The celebration will be followed by a procession and festivities. On Saturday, the entertainment begins at 22:00 with a dance.

Capelinhos Volcano · Capelo
The Azores Triangle Adventure is a trail running race that takes place over three days, covering the islands of Pico, São Jorge, and Faial, for a total of more than 86 km. The first stage, “From the Vineyards to the Mountains”, takes place on Pico Island, covering approximately 25 km between the sea and the Mountain House. The following day, the “Fajãs Trail”, on São Jorge Island, covers approximately 25 km through some of the emblematic fajãs (coastal plains) of the south coast. The final stage, “Volcano Trail”, takes place on Faial Island, covering approximately 35 km between the Capelinhos Volcano and Ribeirinha. A sporting experience that combines the challenge of trail running with the discovery of the unique landscapes and characteristics of the three islands of the Triangle.
